Goodbye and Good luck

A fond farewell to all our Year Six pupils as they set off on the next stage of their journey. They have been fantastic role models and ambassadors to our school, and we are looking forward to seeing all that they achieve in the future.

Today was equally emotional as Ms Loftus has bowed out after ten incredible years here at Rowan Tree Primary School. Today everyone virtually attended our last Gold Medal Assembly of the year, dedicated to Ms Loftus which was led by Mrs Curran.

Ms Loftus has been passionate in implementing our School Improvement plan and under her leadership our school has achieved Autism Accreditation Advanced Status and was recognised by OFSTED for "exceptional leadership in creating a climate of high expectations, a love of learning and an insistence that barriers can be broken so that every pupil can achieve their best". Liz is now retiring following thirty-four years of work in special education, in one way or another.
